Koh Tao is now around 40 dive centers, some of them are very large with huge dive boats that take up to 60 divers on its. What? Then, How much fun is it to go diving with a couple of hundred divers? Not much fun. The popular sites are always quiet busy. We've tried to solve these by offering the different Dive Courses and Dive Trips, which we sure you will love to go diving after your course as well.
Our Daily Dive Trips go out 2 times a day. We do 2 dives at 2 different dive sites on both daily trips. A Daily Morning Trips (2dives) leave Koh Tao around 07:45 a.m. and gets back around 11:45 a.m. A Daily Afternoon Trips (2dives) leave Koh Tao around 1:00 p.m. and gets back around 5:00 p.m.
Our Dive Boats (Sea Hawk Boat and Lomlak Boat) also leave from our private pier right outside the Dive Shop Office. This means that we don't have to transport you around the island using up your precious vacation time, so you'll have a more relaxing course and more free time during the course.
2 Dive Boats are 20 meters and 12 meters wooden designed for dive boats with water level platforms in the stern to make your entries and exit as easy as possible. All our dive boats carry the following equipment and the following facilities: First Aid Kit, Emergency O2 Delivery unit, Marine Radio and Mobile Phone, Spare Diving Equipment, Save-a-Dive Kit, Drinking water, Coffee & Tea, Fruits & Snacks, Covered Dry area and a Toilet.
We also do many different “Special Dive Trips” such as Sunrise Trips, Sail Rock Trips, Sleep-In Trips, Sunset and Night Dive Trips. We just dive before the others get on the dive site or a couple of hours after they have left the dive site to avoid the crowds. If you do 2 dives a day we can offer you a discounted rate on your accommodation.
Night Dive Trips leaves Koh Tao at 6:30 p.m. and we are back at around 8:30 p.m. depending on which dive site we're going. “Sunset and Night Dive Trips" are also available. We go out 5:30 p.m. make a sunset dive, have something to eat and wait for the darkness. We do the night dive and get back at about 8:30 p.m. This is a great way to see the difference between the day life and the nightlife. A lot of the aquatic life that we saw during the 1stdive will have gone to sleep when we do our 2nddive, but new creatures “Nocturnal fishes” have awoken.
Sunrise Trips leave Koh Tao at 05:45 a.m. “Sunrise Dive” at Chumporn Pinnacle the best off shore dive site, have breakfast and then go to dive before going home. We get back to Koh Tao around 08:00 a.m.
Sleep-In Trips is not only for those of us who have a hard time to get up in the mornings. Departing at 09:30 a.m. with our Special Dive Boat (Lomlak Speed Boat) and coming back around 2:30 p.m. These trips are incredibly relaxing and are sure that we will be the only dive boat out there. They are also great trip to be on if you want to avoid the crowds.
Sail Rock Trips leaves at 06:00 a.m. make 2 dives of “Sail Rock” the best sites of the Samui archipelago, have longer surface interval time and have good lunch with Thai cuisine on the dive boat, etc. We'll be back about 12:30 a.m.
